14 year old member Joe Retford put in a superb performance at the Reid trophy at Preston GC last week!!
After a challenging start in rough weather, Joe followed up his opening round of 82 with a brilliant 74 to make the cut by three shots!
His final round topped off a brilliant week, with a level par 71, good enough to finish in 25th place overall and 8th best English boy!
A great performance Joe, well done!!!
SHOP FITTING CONTINUES…
The new shop fitting is continue to look better and better and with just one wall now needed to be replaced, we hope you all like the look of the new design and style. Once completed (and the power tools have been out away) we will be able to display the goods in a way that will really help customers see what we've got.

MENS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS - DRAW ON WEBSITE!
This years Club Championships is looking like its going to be a fiercely contested event with over 120 entries!! The draw will be on the Cumberwell Park website so please check your time online and arrive with enough time to make your tee time. Best of luck to all competitors and enjoy the challenge!!

SUMMER BALL @ CUMBERWELL PARK - FRIDAY 14TH AUGUST
We have a Black tie Summer Ball event here at Cumberwell on Friday 14th August. With a 7:15pm for 8:00pm start, the evening kicks off with Pimms & Canapés in the celebration garden and a buffet from 8pm. The evening's entertainment is provided by Purple Fish and is going to be a great event. Tickets are priced at £28 per person and are purchased from reception.
We have two more Junior Fun Day's for this years summer holidays and are always very popular. The dates we have booked in are:
Each day is priced at £27.50 and you can book in for as many as you would like to attend.
The coaching days will cover some long and short game coaching, lunch in the clubhouse followed by a few holes on the course. Pick up a form in the ProShop, or call 01225 862332 to book.
