Callaway Golf Club Fitting Day!!
Friday 20th February 2015 – official launch date!
We are lucky enough to have a Callaway Golf Demo Day on Friday 20th February which coincides with the official launch date of the new Callaway XR range. We will have a full quota of demo product available in men’s and ladies and all available to hit free of charge!!
This will be the first day that new product will be able to be seen and purchased in the UK!
We have fitting appointments available all day, with TWO Trackman units available all day for state of the art fittings and superb new product!!

St. Andrews Foursomes
Saturday saw 42 pairs take part in the St. Andrews Foursomes event, another popular event. With pairs taking on the Red & Yellow course in a modified Foursomes/Greensomes event, the scoring was tough! There was one outstanding score from Grant Wintle & Darren Hopkinson who carded a tremendous 42 points, beating runners up Pete Doust & Alun Edwards with 40 points and Pete Trevor & Steve Langley into 3rd with 39 points.

Custom fitting now up and running!
You may have seen or heard, but our teaching and custom fitting room has been undergoing a major refurbishment and is almost complete.
Our aim with the teaching room was to provide an exceptional amount of choice to the customer from each of the four major brands that we stock; Callaway, TaylorMade, PING & Titleist. This year we will have more custom fitting options and trial product than ever before, making Cumberwell Park the ONLY place to visit for a complete custom fitting solution!
The new fantastic choice on offer, coupled with the Trackman launch monitor and true ball flight means we can offer the best service around.

The Alex’s are all trained up with TaylorMade! 
Last week saw both Alex Blewett & Alex Pike undergo extensive product training with the TaylorMade tour fitters and are now experts in all things TaylorMade!
We have recently received our stock but more importantly our fitting and trial product and it is already proven to be a successful range of products. In store we have the new RSi 1, RSi 2 and RSi TP irons in, the new Aero Burner range and its flagship wood range, the new R15.
Junior Fun Day – Tuesday 17th February 2015
We are hosting a Junior Fun Day in the February half term for the little ones on Tuesday 17th February between 10am & 3pm. The day is open to junior golfers with little or no golfing experience and great chance to learn a few skills and have some fun.
As always there will be refreshments available throughout the day and lunch is provided in the clubhouse, followed by some time on the golf course in the afternoon. The day costs £27.50 per child and spaces are limited, so please call us on 01225 862332 to book, or pop into the shop for a form.
New ladies group lesson
New Ladies class for beginners / improvers is due to start on Friday 27th February between 11:00 and 12:00 and runs for 5 weeks costing £50. To book please give us a call on 01225 862332.
Cumberwell secure 2015 EuroPro fixture!!
Cumberwell Park is delighted to announce that we will again be hosting a EuroPro Tour event between the 17th & 19th June 2015!!
The fixture list was released last week and can be seen here. We are fortunate enough to be part of a 16 event schedule starting at Celtic Manor in March and finishing at Princes in September!
The EuroPro Tour continues to grow in size and stature with a significant boost to the prize fund at each event and a continued rise in standards!
In light of the confirmation, we guarantee another fantastic Sky Sports production and of course another Pro-Am to be held on Monday 15th June 2015.

End of year handicap review
The 1st of March is the cut off point for qualifying handicap scores. Players need to ensure they have submitted at least THREE qualifying or supplementary scores since 1st March 2014 and the 28th February 2015. There is a list of players who have submitted either one or two scores on the notice board. If you have not submitted three cards in this period your handicap will continue, but you will not be able to enter qualifying competitions, trophy events or club knockouts. Deerest Trophy - Sunday 15th February 2015
The Deerest trophy is a Mixed Foursomes event played on the Red & Yellow course. Green Fees will be reduced by 50% because it's a foursomes event and pairs are to be entered on the mixed notice board. Tee times will be drawn from 10am.
Valentine's Day at Cumberwell Park - Saturday 14th February 2015
This year Cumberwell Park will be hosting Valentines Day evening in the Wraxall Room and have tables available between 7pm & 9pm. The member's price is £25 per person and includes canapés on arrival with a glass of Prosecco followed by a 3 course dinner. To book your table speak to reception on 01225 863322.
