New rules, new rules... The new rules set by the R&A and USGA are now in play and as you would have seen at the most recent PGA tour event, there are quite a few changes. Principally, they are designed to help simplify and more importantly speed up play! This week’s new rule change of the week is……. There is no longer a penalty for accidentally moving your ball on the putting green, in addressing the ball or making a practice stroke. If moved, the ball must be replaced to it’s original spot. We will bring you another rule change next week.

The last thing anyone wants is to purchase a new set of irons, only to struggle massively when they take to the course with their friends a few days later. Sound familiar? Well, with lots of new products about to land in-store for 2019, here are a few iron models that we recommend having a custom fitting for... |
The M5 and M6 irons from TaylorMade are designed for explosive distance, thanks mainly to the innovative Speed Bridge structure that helps stiffen the clubhead to generate higher ball speeds - visible technology that you can see in the images above. The M6 is designed for maximum forgiveness - something that we can all benefit from - whereas the M5 is suited to the better player who is looking for more distance without sacrificing control.
Hopefully, you have an idea of which iron you'd like to put in your bag, but it's not until you come and visit us for an enjoyable custom fitting that you'll know which iron and shaft combination performs best for you. We're here to help you play better golf. |
