Fitting news

Titleist Vokey Fitting Day – Friday 28 September

We are very lucky to have a unique opportunity to host Will Harvey from Titleist for a ‘Vokey Fitting Experience’ day at Cumberwell Park. Will works on tour fitting players for wedges and is able to provide a first class fitting service to our members and guests using the Vokey surefit fitting system. If you are serious on wedges and short game, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

On the day there will be Trackman 4, left and right handed wedges, 27 bounce and grind options, Pro V1 practice balls, ball fitting and specialist grinds, only available as wedgeworks options and more!

We have fitting appointments available between 12pm & 5pm and these will go fast, so to book, please give us a call on 01225 862332.

TS2 and TS3 fitting product now available to try!!

We now have the new TS3 and TS2 drivers and fairway woods available in demo.

Race to The Medallist – Final stretch!

There is just one medal remaining of this year’s Race to the Medallist. Sunday 23rd September on the yellow & orange course is your final chance to earn some points and secure your place inside the top 50 of the rankings. Alex Fereday remains in the lead on 848 points. To find the order of merit, visit ongoing competition in the members area.

Jess Hays is South West U18’s champion!!

Cumberwell Park’s Jess Hays has won the South West U18’s Girls Championship which was held at Broadstone golf club on Sunday 2nd September. With scores of 78 & 76 for total of 154.

A superb performance from Jess, following on from her success at the Ladies Club Championships. Well played Jess, excellent performance.

Pro’s Day 2018 – Saturday 22nd September

Its getting close!

Entries are now open for our annual Pro’s Day, teams of four will take part on the Red & Yellow course, open to ALL members.

Entries are open for teams on intelligent golf or speak to us in the shop. There will be many prizes available on the day and a special format will be adopted.

In line with the anticipated launch of the new Titleist TS range of woods, we have some great clearance offers on the 917 range of ex-demo woods. For those who want a great value, high performing metal wood, we have drivers from just £179 and fairways form just £149.

Intelligent Golf Members Area now up and running

All members have now been notified of how to join the all new Members area! Each member will have received an email of how to do so. All areas are now accessible, to check results, handicaps, scores, fixtures and more.

Live Leaderboards

During qualifying competitions, we will run live leaderborads which will be viewable online whilst the competition is running.

Coaching news

Ladies Group Lessons

Paul has a new class of Ladies Group lessons starting on Friday mornings from 14th September. The four week course is suitable for beginner or improving golfers, and a great way to meet other new lady golfers. The sessions run from 11:00 – 12:00 and priced at £45. Junior Roll up sessions

We have now added a Sunday Junior Roll up session from 11am to 12pm. This is in addition to our Saturday sessions at 10am and 3pm. The lesson lasts for 1 hour and is priced at only £5. No experience or equipment is needed. If you’d like anymore information please call the Proshop on 01225 862332.
