Home Pro’s dominate EuroPro Pro-Am
The week opened with the EuroPro Pro-Am on Monday with over 50 teams taking part and again brilliantly supported by members teams and Pro’s. With a beautiful day and the course presented immaculately, it was another momentous event, followed by a great BBQ and some fantastic prizes.
It was out two touring professionals who lit up the event with Laurie Canter narrowly pipping Steve Surry by one shot, Laurie with a 62 and Steve 63, simply amazing golf, although it took an amazing finish from Laurie, 9 under par for his last 10 holes, and Steve 9 under through his first 12. We had a great score form the Pro Shop team with Paul Morss carding a 3 under par 68, leading his team of juniors to 85 points. Well done Paul and his team. For any members who played and collected prizes, please see Ali and the guys in the office to collect them. |

Which bracket do you fall in? |
There’s one thing that you'll always need in abundance when playing golf and that’s balls - and plenty of them. Each golf ball we sell offers different levels of feel and performance at varying price points, meaning we have something to offer all playing preferences and budgets. |
| Bang for your buck Balls at a cheaper price point usually have one key performance benefit rather than offering a little of everything. This Callaway Warbird follows the trend by offering maximum distance with your longer clubs thanks to its aerodynamic dimples and high-energy core, giving you lots of power for little expenditure. |
| The all-rounder If you’re looking for more balanced performance through the bag but without the premium price tag, this Callaway Supersoft ball is designed to be long, straight and soft. It doesn’t spin as much as the Chrome Soft, but its low compression core helps create long, high flights that land softly. |
| Tour performance The saying 'you get what you pay for' certainly applies when it comes to golf balls. Callaway's Chrome Soft is their premium option, and it's easy to see why, with a soft urethane cover for short-game spin and a graphene-infused core that boosts ball speed and provides more iron control. |
