PRO'S DAY FAST APPROCHING!!! SATURDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER 2015!

Our annual Pro's Day event is not far away and in typical Pro's Day style, the event is Teams of Four playing a Bowmaker with the Best Two scores to count on Par 4's and Par 5's and the Best Three scores to count on Par 3's.

This year the event is being played on the Blue & Yellow course with a Trackman Challenge on the 10th tee and a burger sponsored by Church Farm Meats

As always, the prize table will be superb and we would love to see another packed field!!

BIG EX-DEMO CALLAWAY SALE!!

We are currently selling off of our Callaway Big Bertha Ex-Demo stock.

The line up includes the Alpha series, the 'V' series and the 2014 Big Bertha range.

We have a wide range of products available that include Drivers, Fairways and Hybrids, with plenty of shaft and loft options.

WINTER LEAGUE - ENTRY NOW IN SHOP

The entry for the winter league is now open with the list in the ProShop. The winter league is an event where pairs are drawn into groups and play other competitors throughout the winter, head to head in a matchplay competition. The top 2 pairs in each group will group in to a knockout competition.

Entries must pay on entry in the shop and will close on the 30th October. Don't miss out!


SHORT GAME COMPETITION

The Captains Roll-up is coming to an end for another season and is closing with a short game competition followed by some food and presentation of the year's prizes. The competition will be a 9 hole short game competition starting at 6:15pm and will take approximately 1 hour to finish. The competition is open to everyone, so get yourself involved.


CAPTAINS ROLL-UP - FRIDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER








TWO BRILLIANT SCORES IN THE INAUGURAL TROPHY!!

Last weekend we held the Inaugural Trophy on Saturday and 110 people took part. The event that is open to all members had a Men's and a Ladies prize and this year the Ladies winner was Thalia Hayter with 37 points.

In the men's section we had two brilliant scores; Myles Edwards was beaten into second place with a massive 45 points off a handicap of just 3, that's a gross 65!! Great golf Myles!! The winner of the event was Stephen Duckworth who also had 45 points but beat Myles on countback.

Well done to Thalia Hayter & Stephen Duckworth this years winners; well done also to Myles on a great 65!! 

 
JOHN JAMES MEMORIAL

One of the fun competitions of the year sees members of each section participate in a four ball better ball team event. Over 20 teams played with a great turn out from each section! The winners this year were the team of Paul Edwards, Dave Larcombe, Sue Cooper and a slightly older junior Ray Evans! The team scored a superb 88 points clinching the trophy by 2 points over Steve Cooper, Steve Langley, Ian Settle and Cameron Selway. Everyone who played enjoyed the day and it is a fantastic whole club event!
Thanks to the catering staff for the BBQ and thanks to the James Family for supporting the day.
