Important news

Our new era has begun

Last week you received an email from us asking for your help. It wasn’t anything too onerous or time-consuming; simply sparing 20 seconds of your time to complete your golfing profile.

The reason we’re asking you to do this is so that we can start sending you personalised content that is more relevant to your golfing needs. For example, if you’re a lady golfer with a handicap of 28 then the weekly emails you receive will include ladies product that will be suited to your playing ability. Likewise, if you’re a gentleman off 12, we will begin sending you content that will help you to get your handicap down to the holy grail of single-figure digits.

Thank you to everyone who has already completed their profile and for those of you who haven’t been able to as of yet, please try and do so in the near future.

Titleist trial month

With the arrival of our new SM7 wedges and new irons earlier in the year, we are running a competition until the end of April, which is quite simply, a no brainer!

We have four completely new trial sets including Titleist’s new selection of woods, irons and wedges all in Men’s, Seniors & Ladies.

To enter the competition, all you need to do, is take one of our trial sets out for a round of golf, simple as that. All we need is some feedback from the set you played with. Every golfer who takes out a set will be entered into a draw for a 4 DOZEN PRO V1 balls (Worth £172). All we would like is some feedback following your round.

Cobra Demo Day

Saturday 24th of March sees an exciting demo day with this year’s new Cobra Equipment. The new F8 woods will be able to demo and the new range of irons. Anyone is more than welcome to attend and get fitted. The day runs from 12-4.

An evening with the Pro’s

Our team of professionals are hosting a ‘season opener’ and offering a seminar type evening going through the fundamentals of coaching, club fitting and putting. Upstairs in the clubhouse with some food and priced at just £12.00, it will be a great evening.

Junior Fun Day – Monday 9th April 2018

We are holding a Junior Fun Day on Monday 9th April between 10am and 3pm. Open to juniors to all level, beginner & improver, the day will cover some time on the range, short game area, lunch in the clubhouse and then time on the course. Costing £27.50 per child, spaces are limited, so book in the proshop.

A lot has been made of the exciting crop of young golfers at the top of the world rankings right now – and rightly so – but it’s been the old guard who has been grabbing all the headlines in recent weeks.

Following up Mickelson’s triumph at the WGC a couple of weeks ago was England’s Paul Casey, who secured a one-shot victory at last week’s Valspar Championship from none other than a certain Tiger Woods.
