MIXED STARTS FOR SURRY & CANTER IN Q SCHOOL FINAL

Cumberwell touring professionals Steve Surry & Laurie Canter have had mixed starts in their quest for European Tour cards for the 2017 season. Surry struggled early on in the tournament with not enough birdies by his own admission and rounds of 71, 75, 75 left him a few shots back to make the cut going into the fourth round. Canter who started brightly with rounds of 69, 66 and 73 put him in a great spot to make the cut and currently sitting in the golden 'Top 25' to make a card!

Click here to follow their progress over the final few rounds.

Best of luck guys!

GET YOURSELF READY FOR WINTER

There are a few key essentials that you need to get in the bag before going into this winter:

STAY WARM!

Get yourself kitted out with a decent winter hat and some winter mitts. We have a huge selection of both and they can really help with your performance on the golf course. We all know what it's like to hit one slightly 'thin' on a cold winter's morning!! The Motocaddy winter mitts are particularly good for those of you using an electric trolley as they fit nicely onto the handle. In winter hats we have a great selection from Callaway, PING, Titleist and FootJoy

LAYER UP!

When dressing for the golf course, effectively use layers to stay warm and feel comfortable. Base layers are great to wear first; they trap the warmth and are very comfortable. Layer with a polo short, a warm mid layer that stretches is perfect to wear either on its own or underneath a waterproof layer. In stock we have all layers covered by Callaway, adidas, FootJoy and Sunderland

WATERPROOF CART BAGS

Over the last few years we have seen a sharp increase in the demand for waterproof golf bags. They have continued to get better, and as the companies have ironed out issues with zips, this year's offerings are better than ever.

Firstly, because of the waterproof material, they are very lightweight and of course all carry fully waterproof zips. They have a huge amount of pockets and space and completely get rid of the need to worry about a bag cover.

In stock we have the new bags from Callaway and they are some of the best on the market, really nice design but completely functional. We also have the new waterproof bag in stock from Motocaddy, another great product from a company that really focus on the trolley and bag market. We have a good range of colours and we also have some waterproof carry bags on the way, so watch this space!

EX DEMO SELL OFF!

We still have a huge range of ex demo equipment in Callaway, Titleist and Nike including irons, wood and putters. All the equipment is ex demo so you can give it a try. Look forward to seeing you!
