MEDALLIST FINAL - WE HAVE OUR TOP 50!! 

The results are in and we have our Top 50 for the Race to the Medallist Final!! Following our last medal on Sunday, over 300 people took part in the 12 medals throughout the year and as per usual, there was a battle to make the cut. 

Here is the Top 10, showing the reset points going into the final event on Saturday 15th October, following that we will have our Medallist Champion for 2016 and the bonus pool of money will be allocated (not quite in Rory's $10,000,000 league, but still worth winning!)

CUMBERWELL CONSERVATION EVENING - FRIDAY 25TH OCTOBER - 7pm 

Cumberwell Park invites you to a Conservation Evening Hosted by Course Manager Matthew James & Head of Conservation Jon Keepen.

The evening will cover all aspects of conservation at Cumberwell Park

Which will include:

- Bird Box Project
- New Course Planting
- Long Rough Management
- Other Interesting Features 

Club member Keith Wright will also be involved in the evening along with a talk from experienced ornithologist Major Nigel Lewis on Owls & Raptors.

AUTUMN SENIORS AWAY DAY AT THE WILTSHIRE GC 

Last Thursday saw 54 seniors play in their annual Autumn Away Day at The Wiltshire Golf Club. 18 teams of 3 all played a hole with Assistant Pro Alex Jacobs; he really enjoyed his day and played with lots of members! The prizes were sponsored by John Jacobs and presented by Alex on the day. The weather was fantastic so made the day even better! Thanks to everyone who attended.

ANOTHER GREAT CALLAWAY DEMO DAY 

They are always well supported, but yet again we had another great turnout at the Callaway Demo Day on Saturday and a huge thank you must go to Nick Korynevsky our area sales manager and the Demo Day technician Liam O'Sullivan. 

Products that clearly stood out during the fitting day were the NEW XR Steelhead Irons, the Big Bertha OS Iron and the NEW Fusion range of metal woods (which actually launch this Friday!!) 

We have an extensive range of Callaway fitting equipment and are often first to receive new fitting equipment, so if you are looking at updating the golf bag, book a fitting and try the new range versus your own on our in house trackman, market leader in ball tracking technology.

End of Season roll-up Thursday 6th of October 

Sadly, the roll ups for this year has to end. Our finale will be an individual Stableford on the Par 3 course. This will be a Shotgun start at 5pm, so all participating should meet me at hole 1 at 4:45pm after paying for it in the ProShop. The cost of the competition including the sandwiches and chips will be £5.00 in total. I regret to say this competition is only open to members who have participated in at least one of the summer roll ups. To get ideas for numbers, those if you who have not yet indicated you will be coming could you please tell the Proshop. 

A&M JAMES TROPHY - SUNDAY 16TH OCTOBER (Changed Date) 

The list is of entries is up for the A&M James Trophy on the mixed notice board. The mixed pair's event is played over Greensomes on the Orange & Yellow course. Entries will close this weekend. 

WOOD TROPHY - SATURDAY 22ND OCTOBER 

The entry list is also up for the Wood Trophy is now up and on the notice board. The men's pairs Better Ball event played this year over the Yellow & Blue course this year. Entries are being taken on the notice board.
