FootJoy Shoe Fitting Day – Saturday 24th May
We are hosting a FootJoy shoe fitting day on Saturday 24th May here at Cumberwell Park. The fitting experts will be able to specially measure your feet and provide you with the best size and fit of golf shoe that will help and support you when on the golf course.
They will have a simply HUGE selection of shoes to try to ensure that your next pair of shoes fits perfectly!!

New Course Update!
If you have been up to the club over the last couple of weeks you would have seen quite a lot of change to the right of the driveway and work goes full steam ahead on the new course. With machinery scattered around working on new tee blocks and shaping the bases for new greens, it's all very very exciting!!
Then we have the lake, which put simply, is going to be massive!! Here are a couple of pictures from where the teeing grounds will 'roughly' be. The green will be in the middle of the lake running up to where the yellow machine is. The lake will then extend around side and back of the green coming up a few meters to the right of the big tree. From the back tee the hole will be roughly 150 yards in length and with the tee being elevated, it will look superb!!
This is a view from where the ladies red tee will be placed (right, below), closer to the lake but more to the left hand side (closer to the drive) hitting across the water to the well guarded green (darker shade of grey). In the background of the picture you will see where they are digging the clay from (quarry-look) using this to line the lake making it water-tight.
We will keep you updated with designs and developments of this exciting new project!!
Junior Open - Get your entries in (if you're a junior!)
Our Junior Open is coming up next Monday on the 26th May (Bank Holiday) and entries are flying in! For any juniors that have not already done so, be sure to get your application forms in to us ASAP! We need a good Cumberwell showing!

National Golf Month!
We have spaces on the TWO remaining events scheduled for National Golf Month and they are all absolutely FREE !
We have FREE taster sessions for adults who want to try golf for the first time open to ALL men & women!

New learn to play group class!
Following the National Golf Month we have evening classes starting for adult beginners or improvers! We have two classes starting in June, one on a Tuesday 10th June and one starting on Wednesday 4th June.
