CALL FOR CUMBERWELL PARK CASUAL TEAM!

Attention Cumberwell members, this year cumberwell park will be running a Men's 10 man team playing in the Wiltshire league playing against other clubs in Wiltshire at different venues.

It is a great opportunity to play other courses and meet members. The atmosphere is relaxed and there isn't pressure on the matches. To show your interest please contact the Club captain Elect Pete Trevor on ptmasonryltd@hotmail.com

CURRY NIGHT @ CUMBERWELL PARK

Our first Curry Night is to be held on Friday 4th of March 2016. On the evening you will be able to try 6 different varieties of curries and a huge selection of sides. It starts at 7.30pm and is priced at £12 per person. Booking is required so PLEASE CALL 01225 863322 to reserve your table! Hope to see you all there! Of course the bar will be open to help wash down the curry! 

DISCOVER GOLF IN ONE DAY!

On Tuesday the 22nd of March we are running a discover golf in one day aimed at new or inexperienced golfers, no equipment required. Two PGA Coaches will run the day. Lunch provided, No dress code, sensible footwear & warm clothing recommended. The day will start at 10:00 and run through to 15:00.

NEW PING G SERIES ARRIVES!!

We have a huge selection of Callaway wedges available to try and fit with A MASSIVE TOTAL of 22 different wedges including EVERY loft & grind in the Mac Daddy 3 and every loft in the PM grind wedge!!

We're now able to offer an unparalleled service on wedge fitting utilising trackman for gapping and the short game area to get the perfect sole grind; it is now more than just choosing the right loft.

TITLEIST SM6 & NEW GOLF BALLS

This week we had the experts from Titleist down training the staff on their new products for 2016. Firstly their new ball range introduces the new Titleist Tru-Soft replacing the DT Solo, a huge improvement on last years ball, considerably softer and more durable. A great new ball at their entry level price point.

The new Velocity is a great ball for those who struggle with distance. The velocity does what is says on the tin, it's long but also launches very high. For distance there is nothing better!!

The star of the show was when we tried the NEW NXT Tour & Tour S a ball that is long and has amazing spin control, a superb alternative to the Pro V1 range of balls.

In addition to this, the highly anticipated NEW SM6 wedges are available in March and they look brilliant!! With 5 different grinds, three finishes and a massive amount of loft options, with changes in the centre of gravity, Titleist & Bob Vokey have been able to make different lofts more effective, particularly in the PW loft. A 46 degree SM6 will now perform identical to the 46 degree iron in your set.
